   the pic says pretty much everything. the only problem is that the screw may loosen during exercise, so you have to stop to tighten it.

   These weights were the best deal I found around. I got free shipping from amazon so they were only $35.00. The bar and plates are metal and the plates secure very well on the bar. They have great grips for easy handleing. They come with a convenient storage case and are easy to disassemble and put back. There was no strong oil smell at all like I read in the very helpful review I read before buying these. Also, the box was not damaged at all. The only drawback is that if you want to change the plates, it takes a while because you have to unscrew the little thing that holds them securely in place. Thats the only thing that kept me from giving it five stars. Otherwise, I love em.
